As much as it serves the purpose of reducing seated time, it is also consumes much of my desktop space.

This works great. I have 2-27" monitors on it. I'm 6' and it's very comfortable. Looking at the lower star reviews I'd say this: 1) a standing desk won't cure lethargy due to years of sloth, put down your snack and go for a walk, 2) if you are too weak to lift this or if your back pain is too bad, see number one and then go spend some real money on a medical device or something, 3) chiropractors are not doctors and probably the bigger reason your back hurts, but again, see number one, 4) if your purchase is motivated by medical issues, then stop being cheap and buy an expensive motorized version or spend double the money on something with more lift assist, you will be using the desk for many hours per day and you are being paid for those hours, so stop expecting your company to foot the bill for - you guessed it- see number 1. By the way, look at the directions, they clearly tell you everything you need to know about the little feet and such. I can't believe that one reviewer trashed his employer's desk by assuming the rubber feet were monitor mounts - it's a real problem when stupid people don't know they are stupid and refuse to assign blame to themselves.

I highly recommend this product made of sturdy, quality materials and easy to assemble.

I am in love with my new Defy Desk! It was very easy to assemble and fits perfectly on my desk. It has been also assisting me with my back pain from extraneous hours on the computer.
