Yep, it's perfect, even on glass desks.

Reviews were very good, needed a bigger tray than the one that came with our desk. You do have to make sure the measurements given suit your desk, but quick and easy to install. Clamped on glass with accompanying rubber mounts for the clamps. Obviously, don't over tighten... put had no issues at all getting them very tight without cracking the glass. The rubber mounts seem do do an excellent job of holding the glass. Nice and sturdy tray, plenty long and wide to fit a pretty large keyboard and full size mouse.Of note, there are two different positions to install the clamps on the sliders. This allows you to adjust how far "out" from the desk the tray sits when stowed. In one position, the tray is essentially flush with the desk (perfect in our case since we also have a sit/stand desk) and in the other position, it would protrude from the desk by about 1.5". The difference means that you can have the keyboard farther out or less so depending on your preference.

Not enough clearance for mechanical keyboard with feet and Ikea desk.

I have a mechanical keyboard and an Ikea desk. The desk is 1.25", so even with a 2" clearance. If I put the feet out on the keyboard, I can't push the tray in as the keyboard won't clear. Once I put the feet down, the keyboard is fine. This tray is really only for those with slim profile keyboards.4 stars because tray is great otherwise. Easy assembly, in good shape, feels very sturdy.
